About Christopher
I graduated from university in Australia and later moved to live in London in the U.K. I have taught in many schools across London before I moved to teach in Asia for ten years. I really enjoy helping students achieve their learning outcomes and seeing the joy and pride this brings. I love teaching, travelling, swimming and exploring new countries and cultures.

I am a fully qualified primary teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree and over 25-years' classroom teaching experience. I have taught at schools here in the U.K. and also at top-tier international schools in Asia. I have worked with students from Year 1 to Year 6 and also taught adults.
I have worked for some top schools in Bangkok, Shanghai and Yangon that attract families with high aspirations for their children. I also have high expectations of what children can achieve and encourage all my students to be open-minded, think big and challenge themselves. I use a friendly, supportive approach, with plenty of time for discussion, practice, visual modelling, and IT to engage and make learning fun in every lesson.
I have held leadership roles in mathematics, assessment and curriculum so have excellent subject knowledge and skills at teaching these subjects. I have extensive experience teaching: number; place value; mental calculation skills; written calculation methods; geometry and also statistics. My experience is of the English National Curriculum and methods used in U.K. schools.
