About Jenna
I was born in Washington DC but went to college outside Chicago at Northwestern University. I studied engineering and computer science but after I graduated, I decided to join Teach for America and teach high school math in Las Vegas. I now work at a lab at Stanford with hopes to pursue a PhD in the next couple years.
In my free time I LOVE any outdoor activity, especially if I can bring my dog. My most recent adventure was learning how to snowboard last winter at a mountain outside of Vegas (yes there are mountains near Vegas! :) )

I spent the last year teaching Algebra 1 and Math of Personal Finance at a large high school in Las Vegas, however I have been tutoring math for as long as I can remember.
I have a very real understanding of the different ways that math is learned but also assessed. As a former teacher I understand how to differentiate math learning and work with students in the way that helps them learn best.
As much as I geek out about math, I think a foundational part of tutoring is building our relationship so tutoring is something we both look forward to :)
