Stu has taught my son guitar for a few years now. His teaching style is excellent and is focussed on enjoying the learning experience by teaching songs the student is interested in. This then builds up technique and musicality.

Great to deal with and very good communication. Online lessons work very well and set lesson times agreed although Stu is flexible to change times when occasional clashes occur.

Stu has tabbed out about 100 songs for me at this point and worked through them with me in our lessons, start to finish. Not to mention the library of songs he already has to hand.

A tonne of the songs we’ve worked on weren’t available anywhere online, and the ones that are have questionable accurately. Stu can tab just about anything that’s ever been written from my experience (and I have 100% done by best to try and stump him - no luck to this day).

Some of the songs we’ve worked on are incredibly complex (Crush by Polyphia, for example) and there aren’t many people out there that are able to tab a song that is that complex as accurately as Stu can. Then to be able to play, explain the theory & technique and teach it makes him a top quality guitar tutor.

I’ve been getting lessons for years - I think since 2014, which does nothing for me but remind me how much older I am now than I was when I started playing - but for anyone else, it should make it clear how great a tutor Stu is!
