About Jeff
I am a professional academic/scientist. I completed my PhD in 2011 in Physics/Applied Maths and teach university level students. I aim to give students a genuine understanding of the subject as a pose to rote learning, meaning they will retain the information for life and be able to tackle any problem that an exam will throw at them.

My teaching method is deep understanding. In maths the issues your child is having will often stem from a lack of understanding at a more basic level. I will delve into their existing knowledge and find out where the gaps are, so that we can cement a solid understanding, and build up new knowledge from this point.
