About Juneyoung
I have over 2 years of experience as a teacher, teaching children from 5 to 12 years old. I have helped classes of students with subjects such as English, Math, and Korean. From my experience, I have realized that not everybody has the same methods when it comes to learning. I aim to look for the best way in which my student can become the best version of themselves.

I will be teaching subjects such as math and Korean, or help with the student's academics overall. I tend to attempt to approach my students in a friendly manner, as I try to speak to them in a way that makes sense to them. I believe that every student has a distinct way of learning in which they thrive, which is why I am willing to alter my lesson plans depending on the status of my students.

When I was failing math in grade 7, I was very stuck and didn't know what to do. I searched for various teachers, but they all didn't seemed to help. That is when I met June, who helped me bring my grade up to an A. He was a very friendly teacher and allowed me to explore ways of learning that I didn't know about. He truly let me become a better student.
I am a student that June taught for and year. When I was grade 4, I did not know anything about Korea despite being Korean. He helped me improve my Korean and let me connect back to my Korean culture and heritage.
