I'm a young and passionate music teacher who was classically trained in universities and music conservatoire, with my qualified teaching status gained 2023. Students' enjoyment and skills acquisition are always the most crucial elements in my teaching. My teaching style is encouraging and cutting-edge, students will explore and develop their own talented and efficient learning styles in their music career and finally become independent learners. Perfect! David is an excellent cello teacher, he has professional knowledge on music and teaching skill, he has taught Jeromy with patient and has helped him to develop an interest on music. Before the lesson with David, Jeromy was nervous on cello lessons and has no confidence on playing the cello. But now, Jeromy can play the cello with confident on stage, and has distinction in cello examination.

We met in the same church. David is a chair pianist and cellist in our church service. His pedagogy is flexible and tailored, which totally fits my daughter, Izzy’s interests and current level. More and more smiley faces can be observed from her when I seat in their lessons. Such a contrasting comparison with her old teacher. Big five stars straight away.
David is an excellent teacher. He demonstrates kindness and patience, adept at tailoring lessons to suit beginners comfortably. The lesson content is carefully adjusted to match the student's abilities, striking a balance between manageable challenges and practice opportunities at home. In addition to imparting knowledge and guiding practice, David also incorporates engaging mini activities that bond the teacher and the student, creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience.
I first knew this young but absolutely passionate music teacher at the Cardiff music festival. His playing was memorable, my daughter loves his Bach cello suites and keeps listening to them. David is now her private cello and piano teacher. His teaching is inspiring and distinguished from what the previous teachers did, making my daughter Jennice improve both her enthusiasm and skills.
My son Filip is learning piano with David. He is recommended by a friend in church. His teaching is very inspiring, which leads students to new concepts of practicing efficiently. Definately Support him!!
This is the 3rd year my son and daughter having cello and piano lessons with David. They didn't like to practice at the beginning but David turns the practice hours to excitement by guiding effective ways of practicing. My kids now are willing to listen and to learn much more of music in all styles than before. They've passed their garde 5 and grade 8 exams. Sincerely recommend him as a piano and cello teacher.
