About Jethro
I started my ballet training in Eastern Europe, where I studied the Vaganova (Russian) technique, known for its expansive movements, expressive quality and dramatic port de bras (arms). I later trained vocationally for six years at the Royal Ballet School in London, England, where I developed extensive knowledge of the English style, often characterized by refinement, musicality and clean footwork.
I have since danced professionally with companies across the UK and US, including Boston Ballet, English National Ballet and, more recently, LA Ballet, performing both classical and contemporary works.
I have been teaching for over 4 years, working with students of all ages and levels through various summer workshops, classes and one-to-one lessons. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or pre-professional dancer, I'd love to share the knowledge and experience passed down to me by my teachers and help you develop your technique, confidence and artistry.

I'm a professional ballet dancer with LA Ballet offering private, one-to-one ballet lessons here in Los Angeles. I work with all levels, from beginners and adult dancers to intermediate and pre-professional students, and tailor each lesson to individual goals, whether that's building a strong foundation, refining technique or preparing for auditions.
My training spans from the Vaganova (Russian) method to six years of vocational training at the Royal Ballet School in London, and so I bring a detailed, supportive approach that focuses on refined technique and artistic freedom.
With extensive experience in contemporary ballet repertoire, I also encourage students to tap into the enjoyment of movement as a way of supporting their ballet technique. My aim is to help each dancer develop not only technically, but also with greater confidence and artistry in order to reach their full potential!
