About Damien
I’m a guitar tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering, focused on guitar performance. I’m passionate about improvisation, especially across jazz and blues subgenres, where creativity and expression come alive. My teaching style is supportive and engaging, designed to help students stay motivated and reach their goals. I work with school students, hobbyists, and professionals alike, tailoring lessons to each player’s needs. I specialize in modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing—all key tools for developing a unique improvisational voice.
