About Richard
With a pencil in hand since childhood and a tattoo machine since sixteen, I bring decades of artistic passion to the digital realm. My journey began with traditional art, evolved with tattooing, and expanded with digital tools in 1999 when I began mastering Photoshop. This dual foundation has shaped my approach to concept art, where every line, shadow, and element must tell a story, whether it’s inked onto skin or rendered on screen. My work thrives in realms that blend imagination with edge—post-apocalyptic landscapes, cyberpunk cities, sci-fi worlds, and horror themes. For me, world-building within these genres is an endless source of inspiration. I love the process of envisioning entire universes, crafting unique environments, props, and characters that inhabit them. Photoshop remains my go-to for intricate rendering and polished finishes, while Blender enables me to efficiently block out complex forms and perspectives. Recently, I’ve dedicated focus to Blender and ZBrush, exploring how these tools can further elevate my 3D and sculpting skills. But at the end of the day, tools are secondary; the final product—whether a meticulously crafted character or a richly textured environment—is what truly matters.
