About Jaykish
My journey in the kitchen really started when I moved out of state for college. Being away from home, I quickly realized that restaurants just couldn't capture that authentic, homemade taste I grew up with. To survive, I had to start cooking for myself, recreating my mom’s family recipes from scratch.
I’ve spent years perfecting the dishes she taught me—like my signature butter chicken and traditional chicken curry—while also getting creative with my own Mexican-Indian fusion. I’m not a culinary student; I’m a home cook who knows exactly how to make a real meal on a budget when you're craving a taste of home. Whether you're a student yourself or just someone tired of bland takeout, I’m here to show you that you don't need a professional kitchen to make amazing food.
