About Anvi
With a BSc in Financial Mathematics and over 6 years of tutoring, I specialise in making maths relevant to students interested in civil engineering and architecture. We explore how maths shapes structures, supports safety, and drives sustainable design. My lessons simplify complex ideas like optimisation, force analysis, and geometric modelling. Too often, maths is taught as a set of rules to memorise—but in my classroom, it's a space for creative exploration. I guide students through rich, interactive lessons filled with logic puzzles, mathematical patterns, and real-world discoveries. We talk through ideas, ask big questions, and celebrate both effort and insight. I personalise each lesson so students feel supported and challenged at the right level, and I build a learning environment where it’s okay to take risks and make mistakes. I also support young learners in research and work closely with parents to ensure steady progress. My teaching is not just about solving problems—it’s about building thinkers who see maths as an adventure full of possibility.
