About Aimee
I have a Master’s degree in Psychology in Education and experience working in educational support roles, including as a Teaching Assistant and in widening participation and student support at university level. Through this, I’ve worked closely with students from a range of backgrounds, helping them build confidence, improve their academic skills, and feel more supported in their learning.
I specialise in study skills, academic writing, exam technique, and English confidence. My focus is on helping students not just understand content, but learn how to learn effectively — whether that’s through better revision strategies, clearer essay structure, or more organised and manageable study routines.
I take a calm, supportive and practical approach in my sessions. I understand that studying can feel overwhelming at times, so I aim to break things down in a way that feels clear, achievable and less stressful. I also place a strong focus on confidence, motivation and consistency, as these are often key to long-term progress.
I work with GCSE, A-level and university students, as well as English learners who want to improve fluency and communication in a supportive environment. My goal is to help students feel more in control of their learning and more confident in their abilities.

My lessons are supportive, structured and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I focus on study skills, academic writing, exam technique and English confidence, helping students at GCSE, A-level and university level feel more organised, confident and in control of their learning.
In sessions, I don’t just focus on the content, but on how to learn it effectively. This includes building realistic revision strategies, breaking down essay structure, and developing practical techniques for managing workload, deadlines and exam pressure. I also support with motivation, consistency and confidence, which are often the biggest barriers to progress.
For English learners, I create a relaxed and encouraging space to improve fluency, speaking confidence and communication skills without pressure. For academic students, I help simplify complex topics into clear, manageable steps so studying feels less overwhelming and more achievable.
Each session is adapted to the student, whether the goal is improving grades, preparing for exams, or building stronger study habits long term. My approach is calm, practical and focused on helping students feel more capable, independent and confident in their learning.
