About Damya
I want to teach because I enjoy helping younger students understand things that they may find difficult and seeing their confidence grow over time. I remember what it felt like to struggle with certain topics at school, so I want to make learning feel clearer, less stressful, and more achievable for others. I also enjoy explaining ideas in a simple and patient way, and I find it rewarding when someone finally understands something they were stuck on. Teaching allows me to use my own recent experience as a student to support others in a relatable and encouraging way.

My lessons focus on building confidence as well as knowledge. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and develop independent problem-solving skills in a supportive and positive environment. I regularly review previous topics to strengthen understanding and ensure students are making progress.
As a recent student myself, I can explain concepts in a way that is relatable and engaging for younger learners, helping them feel comfortable and motivated throughout each lesson.
