About Lisa
I am a Spanish tutor with 6 years of experience teaching High School and College students. Over this time, I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them develop confidence in speaking, writing, reading, and listening. My teaching philosophy focuses on interactive, practical, and student-centred learning.
I use real-life examples, conversational practice, and cultural insights to make lessons engaging and meaningful. I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning style, ensuring steady progress.

My approach to teaching Spanish is balanced, ethical, and goal-driven. I focus on helping students develop strong communication skills while enjoying the learning process.
Communication is the key focus of my lessons. Students actively practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Flexibility allows lessons to be customised based on goals and progress.
Creativity adds variety and interest. I use storytelling, dialogues, interactive tasks, and real-life examples to teach grammar and vocabulary effectively.

Along with Spanish, I teach related subjects such as grammar basics, vocabulary development, pronunciation improvement, conversational Spanish, reading comprehension, writing skills, cultural understanding, and basic translation.
