About Rakshana

Hi, I'm Rakshana! I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Cybersecurity at RMIT University and work professionally in IT.

I've always enjoyed helping students understand things they once found difficult. I'm patient, approachable and good at breaking down complicated topics into explanations that actually make sense.

I teach Maths, Algebra, Statistics and IT and I adapt my lessons to suit each student's level and pace. Whether you're catching up, preparing for exams or aiming for top marks, I'll make sure we work towards your goals together.

I'm big on building confidence, not just improving grades. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and genuinely enjoying what they're learning.

If you're willing to learn, I'm confident I can help you improve!

Every student learns differently, and that's exactly how I approach my lessons!

I start by understanding where you're at, what you're finding difficult and what you'd like to achieve. From there, I plan lessons around your needs, whether it's strengthening the basics, tackling tricky topics, completing practice questions or preparing for exams.

I don't believe in rushing through topics or making students memorise things they don't understand. I'll explain concepts in different ways, use practical examples, and make sure you're confident before moving on.

My lessons are relaxed, interactive and focused on real progress. You're always encouraged to ask questions, even if we've covered something before!

Whether you're struggling to keep up or aiming for the highest marks, I'll help you get there, one lesson at a time.
