Throughout my own studies I developed excellent exam technique and revision methods, leading me to achieve A-A* grades in all of my GCSE's and A-Levels. I am confident in teaching Maths and Science up to GCSE level. I bring a friendly and patient attitude to my tutoring sessions and aim to make the learning fun and enjoyable.
In addition to this I have experience working as an Academic Coach at a primary school in Leicester, helping 8-10 year olds with their Maths and Reading. As part of this I have taken courses in Fluency Tuition and Better Reading Partners and am able to identify where a student may be struggling with their reading and different methods to help them make progress. I have achieved excellent results with my students, seeing a marked increase in their reading age and expression skills in just 12 weeks.
