About Georgina
Hi, I'm Georgina and I’m a recent Natural Sciences graduate from the University of Exeter. I'm so passionate about maths and science that I couldn't choose which subject to study, and so I chose a degree that lets me study them all!
I have always enjoyed learning maths and science, and I love passing on my enthusiasm for these subjects. I have always been happy to help friends and peers when they have been struggling with work at school and university, and found an encouraging and interactive approach is most conducive to learning.
Having recently graduated with a first class honours degree, and achieving just as highly at GCSE and A-level, I understand what is required to perform well in exams. I can help you with anything from your class work to your revision and exam techniques so you can get the best grades possible.
I am patient, understanding, friendly, responsible and trustworthy. I will try my best to help you with any topics you may be struggling with, and to adapt my teaching style as I find out more about how you learn best.
I am currently working in bioinformatics research in Exeter so I am interested in tutoring in my evenings and weekends and look forward to hearing from you!

Prizes and Scholarships :
During my degree I received a Dean's commendation for outstanding achievement in my studies in both my first and third years.
At school I received awards for Excellence in Studies, Achievement in Studies, Service to the school as well as the Pudney Salver Award for Achievement in Science in my final year.
In the UK Mathematical Challenges I got 7 awards in total, including 4 Gold certificates and twice qualifying for the Kangaroo Mathematical Challenges which may be sat by invitation only.
