About Corina
I am a native Mandarin speaker with solid experience teaching learners of different ages and backgrounds, including local children in the UK. My teaching style is clear, patient, and well-organised. I focus on helping students feel confident from the very beginning by creating a positive and supportive learning environment. In my lessons, I use a combination of structured explanations, practical speaking activities, and personalised exercises. Every class is tailored to the student’s goals—whether they are complete beginners, learners aiming to improve their spoken Mandarin, or individuals interested in deepening their understanding of Chinese culture. A typical lesson lasts 50–60 minutes, but I can adjust the length to fit each student’s needs. My priority is to ensure that learners progress steadily while enjoying the process. I take professionalism seriously and always prepare high-quality materials, clear lesson plans, and constructive feedback. My aim is to help every student feel motivated, supported, and confident in their Mandarin learning journey.
