About Jennifer
- What kind of experience do you have? Currently teach children from 4-11 years old. Extensive knowledge of both key stage 1 and 2 and the new requirements for children to be age expected by the end of the year. Worked with a wide variety of students, from children with specific educational needs through to gifted and talented pupils, so adept at adapting resources to ensure individual needs are met and children are able to reach their full potential. Many parents have given me positive feedback and their children have made excellent progress through my sessions. I can set weekly homework in order to help your child make the maximum progress possible and can work with you to set targets for your child. - Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate? A qualified primary school teacher with over 12 years teaching experience in KS1 and KS2. Graded an outstanding practitioner. I have expertise in KS1 SATs as well as KS2 SATs and have tutored for 7 years across all primary age ranges. - Which subject(s) do you teach? All curriculum subjects including English, SPaG, Maths and Science Non-verbal and verbal reasoning Phonics Reading 11+ ISEB/CAT4/GL/CEM - Tell me about your qualifications. PGCE KS2 Specialism- Roehampton University London Bachelors Undergraduate degree- Buckinghamshire New University - How much do you charge? I charge £45 for the first session which will last one hour. This is an assessment of your child’s needs so I can tailor subsequent sessions to them. The following sessions are £40 per hour session thereafter. I can offer a discount for a pre-paid block of lessons. - Where do you teach? I tutor online via Zoom - When are you available? Monday- Friday Saturday mornings Also available in school holidays. - Which ages and levels do you teach? Ages 4-11 KS1 and KS2 - Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? I can prepare my students for 11+ exams - English multiple choice, Maths multiple choice, Verbal and non-verbal reasoning. KS1 and KS2 SATs tests in English, Maths and SPaG Years 1-6 Maths, English and SPaG Curriculum content Common entrance exam KS1 phonics test. - Do you have a personal message for students? I have an excellent rapport with children and parents and can work with you to set targets for your child and help them make progress.

Perfect! Jenni is an excellent teacher, my daughter warmed to her instantly and really enjoys her lesson each week with her. She explains things clearly and will work on whatever your child needs. It has been wonderful to see my daughter's confidence and knowledge grow and her grades at school improve tremendously. Can't recommend Jenni enough really and she's a lovely friendly person too!
