About Isla
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies and have spent the past 6 years helping students improve their communication skills. My interest in language developed through reading, writing, and exploring how words shape understanding. Teaching allows me to share that passion while helping learners achieve meaningful goals. Supporting students as they gain confidence remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work. Every learner brings a unique perspective to the classroom.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience, encouragement, and practical learning. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and actively involved in lessons. Classes are structured to provide clear progress while remaining flexible enough to address individual needs. Students receive guidance that helps them develop both skill and confidence. This creates an environment where learning feels approachable and rewarding.
Outside teaching, I enjoy literature, language research, and creative writing. These interests enrich my lessons and help me introduce fresh ideas. Watching students become confident communicators is deeply satisfying. I strive to make every lesson engaging and effective. My goal is to help learners use English with confidence in a variety of situations.

My English lessons focus on making communication feel natural, useful, and enjoyable. I use grammar games, storytelling activities, visual learning tools, repetition-based practice, vocabulary building exercises, listening tasks, and speaking challenges to help students learn effectively. Lessons are designed to keep learners actively involved rather than simply memorizing rules. This approach helps students remember language more easily while building confidence through regular use. Learning becomes both productive and enjoyable.
Every student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to individual needs and interests. Some learners benefit from visual examples and structured practice, while others prefer interactive discussions and creative activities. Lessons may include conversation practice, reading exercises, pronunciation work, writing tasks, and comprehension games. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them understand mistakes and improve steadily. This creates a positive environment where learners feel comfortable participating and asking questions.
My goal is to help students develop strong communication skills that they can use in daily life. As confidence grows, learners become more willing to speak, write, and interact in English. Lessons encourage curiosity, consistency, and self-belief. Every improvement contributes to greater fluency and independence. I want students to enjoy learning and feel proud of their progress.
