About Gemma
Hello! I'm a Psychology & Behavioural Sciences student at the University of Cambridge. I'm interested in behavioural economics and neuroscience research.
I tutor the following academic subjects: Maths, Psychology, Biology, Economics and Statistics, from KS2 to A Level. I also coach for 11+ plus exams in Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. For those applying to university, I can give tips for applications and help with interview prep.
I value good relationships with my students and try to create a comfortable and engaging learning environment. My teaching style is informative and relaxed, and I encourage students to think critically about their subject.
In exam season, I offer booster lessons, which is more focussed on raising grades as much as possible. We will come up with a strategy to work smart and revise efficiently in the run up to exams. Being a student myself, I understand what it's like preparing for exams. I am friendly and approachable and try to offer as much guidance as possible to focus your revision.
