About Lewis
I'm a Glasgow-based economics graduate currently working with Glasgow City Council, where I help shape the city's economic strategy using data and analysis. Before that, I worked at Morgan Stanley. Economics has always been the subject I find most interesting to talk about, and I wanted to start tutoring because I remember exactly how confusing some of these concepts felt at school and college and how much difference a clear explanation made!
My goal is to make Higher and A-Level Economics feel logical and genuinely interesting, not just something to memorise for the exam.

My approach focuses on breaking down Higher Economics concepts into clear, real-world examples rather than just theory, drawing on my own experience working with economic and policy data day-to-day. Lessons typically run 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's exam board and pace.
I hold an MSc in Economic Development (Distinction) and a BA in Economics, both from the University of Glasgow. I work with students studying Higher, National 5, or A-Level Economics, and I'm happy to focus on exam technique, past papers, or building foundational understanding depending on what each student needs."
