About Aliza
I am an IGCSE student passionate about History and Sociology, with first-hand experience of the curriculum and exam requirements. I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their understanding.

I provide supportive and structured tutoring for IGCSE History and Sociology students, helping them build confidence, improve exam technique, and develop a deeper understanding of key concepts. My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into simple explanations I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind events and theories rather than simply memorizing information.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes a short review of previous topics, teaching of new content, guided practice, and exam-style questions or discussion activities. Lessons can be adapted depending on the student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
As a past IGCSE student myself, I have first-hand experience with the syllabus, exam expectations, and challenges students face. I am passionate about helping younger students feel more confident in their subjects by providing a friendly and approachable learning environment.
My lessons are suitable for IGCSE students (ages approximately 14–16) studying History and Sociology who want additional support with understanding content, improving answers, and preparing for exams.
