About Marie

Hello! I am a college student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a consistent academic achiever who enjoys helping children learn. I served as school president in elementary school and graduated from senior high school with High Honors. I have participated in poster-making contests and won awards in English feature writing. As a Senior Scout Crew Leader, I have also developed leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

I have four younger siblings, and spending time with them has taught me patience, understanding, and how to connect with different personalities. I love being around children, which is one of the reasons I want to teach. I enjoy building a positive connection with them and feel comfortable guiding them, keeping them engaged, and responding calmly when they need extra support.

As a creative and adventurous student, I want my classes to be something children look forward to! Through stories, songs, games, and colorful activities, we will practice English while having fun. I will prepare each lesson carefully, adjust to your child’s learning pace, and encourage them to ask questions freely. My goal is to help every learner feel supported, become more confident, and discover the joy of learning English.

I make learning English fun and easy through stories, songs, picture cards, games, and simple conversations. I explain each topic step by step and adjust activities to the child’s level, interests, and learning pace.

A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up game or review. Next, we explore a topic such as vocabulary, phonics, reading, or basic grammar. We practice together through playful activities and finish with a quick recap to check understanding and celebrate progress.

As a BSIT college student, I bring creativity and simple digital learning activities into my lessons. My approach is patient and encouraging, giving children space to ask questions, make mistakes, and build confidence.

My lessons are for grade school children, including beginners and learners who need extra support with reading, writing, pronunciation, and everyday English.
