About Krista
Hi, my name is Krista! I'm a biology tutor (online), and I would really enjoy helping you reach your academic goals - whether that be understanding and going through different topics, working towards your target GCSE and A level grades, or providing advice/guidance on coursework or undergraduate/postgraduate research projects. I am an experienced tutor, and as a biomedical researcher I have helped and supported many students. I have a PhD, MSc and BSc in Biomedical Science/ Biomedical Engineering, and achieved 10 A*s at GCSE and A*A*AA at A-level. Our first meeting would be an introduction to discuss your goals, with future lessons tailored to suit your individual learning style and goals. I understand how stressful studying, exams and projects can be, and I am here to support you!

Techniques and Teaching Methodology: Friendly and relaxed online lessons, each with a clear focus and direction to help students progress and reach their goals. Lessons are tailored to each student's learning style. Lessons can range from understanding concepts, going through questions, exam practice, advice/guidance with coursework and dissertations. I also provide advice and guidance on undergraduate/postgraduate biomedical research projects, lab work, data analysis, and experimental design. Typical Lesson Length: 1 hour, but as long or short tuition as wanted Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: Postdoc, PhD, MSc, BSc in Biomedical Science/ Biomedical Engineering. Experienced tutor, and as a postdoc/PhD I have helped and supported many undergraduate student projects. Levels: Tutor all ages and levels - particularly GCSE, AS level, A level, undergraduate, masters, doctorate
