About Claire
I am a creative, patient and caring person who believes every person should have the chance to be the best they can be. Sometimes they just need that extra bit of support. That is where I can help. My tuition style is student focused and interactive. Each student has their own personal learning plan, which is constantly adapted to their needs.
I have a strong passion for Theatre and English Literature .
My current employment is as a Behaviour specialist and SEN Learning Support Assistant for the past four years and previously worked as a Nanny and homework support for five years.
I am currently studying a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre Studies and I previously studied a degree in Speech and Language Therapy. Recent short courses I have participated in are; Shakespeare- Print and Performance, Certificate in English Grammar and Introduction to Drama Therapy.
Secondary and A-level Students can be tutored in Drama, English Literature or a mixture of both.
We can focus on the plays and novels which are studied for the written exams by helping the student understand and analyse it. Whether it be a modern or pre twentieth century, such as Shakespeare. We can also explore, in depth, practioners of the theatre world.
I have created my availability into hour sessions and I work from Monday to Saturday. Please feel free to contact me if the time you want is different to that I offer. If I can accommodate you I will do my best.
Education is where my future lies. Teaching and Learning are very important to me.
