About Louisa
Hi there! My name is Louisa. With five years of teaching experience, I am a warm, patient and dedicated tutor and musician who adapts each lesson to the child, helping every student feel confident and excited about learning. My lessons are interactive, varied, and carefully designed to suit your child's learning style. With an undergraduate degree in music, a PGCE and QTS certificate, I am passionate about supporting children with their vocal lessons. I maintain a calm, positive and encouraging approach, aiming to build both confidence and strong academic understanding.

Singing Tuition
In my singing lessons, I cater my lessons to the student's musical interests. While technical proficiency and vocal development remain focal points, I am committed to creating an environment that is not only instructive but also engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding, inspiring students to practise between sessions.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable to explore their voices freely. Through a blend of patience and encouragement, I help my students grow into confident and expressive singers.
For beginners, our lessons concentrate on fundamental elements such as exploring vocal range, perfecting clear diction, and introducing ornamentation to add a rich, colourful quality to their singing. As students progress, we delve into more advanced techniques, including various types of vibrato, onsets, and tackling more challenging repertoire.
As students advance further, our focus expands to include aspects like stage presence and addressing performance anxiety.
