About Jessica
Hi, I'm Jessica! I'm currently studying BSc Accounting and Finance at the University of Southampton. From my experience in tutoring, I have had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups. This exposure has honed my ability to adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs effectively. I was a GCSE tutor for English Literature, Maths, German, Business and Science. This allowed me to develop my confidence and communication skills. Teaching Spoken English to primary school children in India both remotely and in person has honed my ability to effectively adapt my teaching methods to suit individual needs. My teaching method is to understand the areas the child would like to focus on and prepare some materials to cover in the lesson. My tutoring sessions are dynamic and interactive, with an engaging learning environment. As a friendly and patient individual, I encourage open communication and create a safe space where the child can feel comfortable asking questions and sharing any thoughts. As a dedicated tutor, who is motivated by her tutees' success, I am confident that I can help the child reach their respective learning goals.
