About Paul
I am an international student, recently graduated with a First Class Honours Degree from Bradford University. I achieved the equivalent of 3 A*s at A-level in Maths, Chemistry and Biology and I love to teach any of these subjects.
I discovered my passion for teaching as a volunteer for AIESEC in my country where I was teaching children with various ages from 8 to 17 years old, Mathematics and English through non-formal educational methods using games and quizzes.
Back in my college I found that some of my colleagues were not that comfortable with mathematics and as the final exams were approaching I was involved in organising tutoring sessions, helping them overcome their fears and teaching mathematics according to their own learning style, being patient and supportive at the same time.

I believe I am a responsible and capable tutor as I combine my passion for science with teaching, focusing on students` strengths when studying and at the same time signalling areas of improvement helping them to see mathematics as an enjoyable subject referring back to real-life examples, transforming a theoretical subject into a more practical and fascinating field.
With a teaching experience of over three years as a dedicated tutor for GCSE and A-levels, I have helped all my students achieve grades between 6 and 9 (Foundation and Higher) in their Maths and Science GCSE exams. Moreover, students undertaking their AS and A-level exams achieved grades from B to A* in their Chemistry and Biology exams. It took hard work and dedication, but in the end it all paid off.
