I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated English Literature tutor with a passion for helping students discover the power and beauty of language. My English Literature lessons are designed to bring reading, interpretation, and critical thinking to life. Each session goes beyond simply studying texts — we explore the themes, characters, historical contexts, and literary techniques that shape great works of literature. Whether we’re analysing a Shakespearean tragedy, a modern novel, or a poem rich with imagery, I guide students to look deeper and understand why writers make the choices they do. Lessons are structured to be interactive and adaptable. I use discussion-based learning, close-reading strategies, essay-writing support, and exam-focused practice to help students develop clear, confident analytical voices. Students learn how to express their ideas effectively, support arguments with textual evidence, and appreciate literature from multiple perspectives. My goal is to build not only strong academic skills, but also a genuine enjoyment of reading. Through personalised guidance and engaging activities, I help students connect with the texts, discover their own interpretations, and grow as thoughtful, independent readers.
