About Xavier
It's been 10 years since I've studied high level math and statistics:
after completing my undergraduate studies in Pure Math, I've pursued a Master degree in Economics, and then a second Master degree in Probability.
I first started tutoring since 7 years ago. I have taught in top universities both in France and in UK during my studies, and also numerous individual students in private tutoring sessions. So far all my students have past their exams with flying colors.
During my spare time, I am a competitive fencer. I have competed regularly at national level during the last 12 year. Every semester, I taught fencing to new members of the fencing club.

Hi, my name is Xavier, a fresh PhD in Mathematics from University of Bath. I have tutored dozens of students in the last 6 years, both in France and in UK.
My primary goal is to ensure my tutees pass the exams they are preparing for. In addition, I'd also like to motivate them to learn, apply and master the topics beyond the textbooks, and genuinely enjoy the topics.
I have various teaching methods catering to different requirements and preference from the students. I often use a mixture of theories, exercises, charts and real-life examples when teaching.
