About Mira
I am a French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Language Education (French). I specialize in helping students prepare for university-level French literature and critical theory exams. My lessons emphasize structured study, textual analysis, and understanding complex philosophical ideas.
I guide learners through literary movements, thematic exploration, and advanced essay writing. Research techniques and critical thinking are central to every session. Students develop sophisticated analytical skills while building confidence in academic French.
I tailor lessons to individual goals, balancing rigorous study with practical strategies. Textual interpretation, argumentation, and stylistic awareness are key focus areas. Students learn to write essays that demonstrate insight, clarity, and precision. My teaching encourages independent thought and intellectual engagement. Lessons are interactive, goal-oriented, and academically challenging. I invite students to deepen their understanding of French literature and philosophy. Together, we work toward mastery in intellectual discourse and academic excellence.

I teach French by connecting language learning with current events and real-world media. Lessons cover reading news articles, analyzing media, and expressing opinions clearly. Students also practice engaging in respectful debates in French.
I use contemporary French newspapers, podcasts, and online media to make lessons lively and relevant. Lessons are tailored to immigrants, newcomers, and professionals. Students explore different perspectives while mastering vocabulary, grammar, and expression.
I guide learners in formulating arguments, interpreting opinions, and discussing cultural context. Lessons combine reading, discussion, and practical exercises. Students develop confidence in speaking, writing, and critical thinking. I emphasize clarity, structure, and engagement in communication. Each session is interactive and motivating. Students leave prepared to navigate real-world French conversations. Together, we read, discuss, and learn with purpose.
