About West
I’m a French tutor with over 7 years of experience and a BA in Art History and French Studies. I specialize in working with advanced learners who aim to refine their French for professional and diplomatic contexts. My passion lies in exploring the rich layers of cross-cultural communication, where language, etiquette, and culture meet. I help students understand the subtleties of formality, tone, and non-verbal cues that define successful interaction in international settings. From polite greetings to diplomatic phrasing, I guide learners through the nuances that matter in high-stakes environments. Lessons include real-world scenarios, cultural case studies, and practical simulations tailored to your field. I’ve supported professionals preparing for international postings, embassy assignments, and global negotiations. My approach is both structured and flexible, designed to build fluency while respecting the specific protocols of global diplomacy. We focus on polished speech, formal writing, and strategies for confident, respectful dialogue. I also include cultural insights drawn from French-speaking countries, helping you navigate diverse perspectives with ease. With each lesson, we refine your communication skills and build confidence for the moments that count most. If you're ready to master the elegance and precision of French for global engagement, I’d be honored to support your journey.

My French teaching approach is practical, engaging, and built to match today’s digital world. I help students gain real confidence in using French for everyday tech-related conversations. Whether you're talking about smartphones, apps, or troubleshooting a laptop, we’ll practice the right vocabulary and phrases to make you sound natural and fluent.
I focus on subjects like describing gadgets, understanding digital services, and navigating technology settings—all in French. We use rapid-fire speaking drills, fun role-plays, and interactive tools to build speed and accuracy. I also include listening practice with short dialogues and tech-related content to boost comprehension.
Each lesson is shaped to suit your pace and your specific goals. I work especially well with students who are new to French or diving deeper for academic or professional reasons. My goal is to help you speak clearly and confidently about modern technology, just like a native speaker would.
You’ll learn how to explain problems, ask for help, and hold everyday conversations about the devices you use. With consistent support and a focus on real-world skills, I’ll help you thrive in French. Let’s get you talking tech—en français with ease and confidence.
