About Isla
With nearly a decade of experience teaching French, I’ve helped students from various backgrounds connect with the language and its cultural richness. My approach combines linguistic instruction with a deep dive into French culture, ensuring that students not only learn the language but also understand its context. I believe that language learning should be immersive and engaging, which is why I incorporate cultural lessons, storytelling, and music into my lessons. By making French feel accessible and exciting, I help students feel motivated and empowered in their language journey. Outside of teaching, I stay connected with French culture through literature, cinema, and travel, ensuring that my lessons reflect the living, evolving nature of the language.
