About Sihra
I hold a B.A. in French Literature and Linguistics and have 11 years of experience teaching French to learners of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasizes structured guidance, cultural immersion, and interactive practice to develop comprehensive language skills. Lessons are customized to meet each student’s level, interests, and objectives. I focus on patience, encouragement, and immersive engagement. Lessons incorporate grammar, vocabulary, conversation, writing, listening, reading comprehension, and cultural content to foster well-rounded proficiency. I encourage students to experiment with language, refine pronunciation, engage in dialogue, and develop confidence in communication. Outside the classroom, I read contemporary and classical French literature, follow Francophone media, and explore cultural contexts to enrich lessons with authentic materials. Seeing students progress from basic understanding to fluent, confident speakers who appreciate French culture is highly rewarding. I aim to cultivate learners who communicate effectively and confidently while enjoying the process of language learning.

Intermediate learners refine conversation, expand vocabulary, understand idiomatic expressions, improve reading comprehension, and practice structured writing. Advanced students tackle complex syntax, advanced grammar, nuanced conversation, literature analysis, and stylistic writing. Lessons combine structured explanation, guided exercises, and practical application to ensure long-term retention and fluency. French lessons also foster analytical thinking, cultural awareness, and confident communication. Students learn to articulate ideas effectively, comprehend context, and engage in meaningful dialogue.
