About David
I am a multilingual tutor with a strong background in languages, linguistics, and applied phonetics, currently completing a master’s degree at Bishop’s University. I have experience supporting learners at different levels by adapting explanations to their needs and learning styles, with an emphasis on clarity, patience, and confidence-building.
Fluent in French and English, with advanced knowledge of several other languages, I specialize in language tutoring, including pronunciation, grammar, and reading comprehension. My academic training and hands-on teaching experience allow me to make complex concepts accessible and engaging for students.

Each lesson is structured but flexible, and adapted to the student’s level, goals, and learning pace.
We usually start with a short discussion or review to identify what the student already knows and what needs reinforcement. Then, we focus on a specific objective (grammar point, vocabulary theme, reading, writing, or conversation).
The lesson includes:
-clear explanations with examples
-guided practice together
-active participation from the student (speaking, reasoning, explaining)
-corrections and feedback in a supportive way
