Salut! My name is Raissa. I am a native French speaker with 10 years of tutoring experience and a passion for helping my students build confidence in learning languages.
My goal is to make lessons a relaxed, encouraging space where you feel comfortable practicing, making mistakes, and actually speaking, rather than just memorizing rules. Bonjour ! I'm a native/bilingual French speaker with 10 years of tutoring experience, offering a mix of structured learning and natural conversation to help you build real, usable French.
Teaching Methodology
I tailor each lesson to the student, blending grammar and vocabulary work with genuine conversation practice, since that's where language really comes alive. Depending on your goals, we might work through structured exam learning (leaving/junior cert or University classes) tackle a hands-on project (like preparing for a trip or working through an article or song), or simply talk it out in French, with corrections and new vocabulary woven in naturally. As a native speaker, I can also help you sound more natural — picking up on the small things that take a French learner from "good" to "fluent."
Lesson Length
Lessons typically run 60 minutes — enough time to review, introduce something new, and finish with open conversation.

French is my native language, and I've spent 10 years tutoring students of all ages and levels. This means I can teach you not just correct French, but the French people actually speak — natural expressions, pronunciation, and cultural context that textbooks often miss.
