About Tam
I am an MA student at the University of Montreal studying French literature and specializing in Caribbean literature and oral traditions. I have always had a profound interest in esoteric arts and divination tools, learning from family members and both studying and practicing occult arts, including tarot, for several years.
I also have several years of experience tutoring French language and essay writing skills, which have given me the knowledge and experience to better connect with and communicate materials to my students.

Je suis une étudiant à la maîtrise en littérature de langue française à l'Université de Montréal et je me spécialise dans les littératures francophones de la Caraïbe. J'ai toujours porté un grand intérêt pour les arts ésotériques, dont le tarot, que je pratique maintenant depuis plusieurs années.
J'ai également plusieurs années d'expérience en mentorat spécialisé ainsi qu'en méthodes d'écritures, ce qui m'a grandement outillée pour mieux connecter avec mes étudiants et la matière qu'ils désirent connaître.

I take a progressive approach to learning tarot, since there is so much knowledge, material, and processes to learn. I prefer a fun and engaging pedagogy rather than a strict learning format.
I like to follow the student's progress and personal learning needs, beginning with the basics of tarot and leading towards what interests them most - e.g., making connections and narratives between the cards, etc.

Ma méthodologie repose autour d'un apprentissage progressif et adapté aux besoins et aux intérêts des étudiants. Je préfère approcher les étudiants avec du dynamisme de la créativité pour pouvoir créer des liens entre la symbolisme, l'astrologie, etc.
Je pense qu'il est important de soutenir les élèves avec des modalités d'apprentissage qui leur permette de mieux absorber la matière. La patience et la créativité sont donc clefs dans ma méthodologie d'enseignement.
