About Kian
I am a French tutor with 9 years of experience and a B.A. in French Linguistics along with an M.A. in Applied French Studies. I specialize in teaching grammar, conversation, and cultural understanding. I guide beginners in building foundational phrases and pronunciation, intermediate learners in refining grammar and conversation, and advanced learners in exploring literature and cultural nuance. Lessons integrate exercises, dialogues, role-playing, and listening comprehension to develop fluency and confidence. My teaching philosophy is engaging, patient, and adaptive. Beginners build strong fundamentals, intermediate learners enhance practical communication, and advanced learners achieve linguistic sophistication. Feedback is continuous, constructive, and personalized. Lessons cultivate fluency, clarity, and confidence in expression. Outside teaching, I engage with French literature, media, and cultural projects to enrich lessons. Teaching French allows me to witness learners gain confidence, comprehension, and cultural insight. My mission is to foster learners who are fluent, culturally aware, and inspired to use French effectively in life and work.

French lessons become engaging when learners combine grammar understanding, conversation practice, and cultural immersion. I teach verb conjugation, sentence structure, vocabulary expansion, listening comprehension, pronunciation, idiomatic expressions, and practical communication. Beginners focus on basic phrases, pronunciation, and sentence construction to develop confidence. Intermediate learners refine grammar, conversational skills, and vocabulary usage. Advanced learners explore nuanced expression, advanced syntax, literature reading, and cultural context. Lessons integrate interactive exercises, dialogues, role-playing, and listening comprehension to foster fluency, confidence, and practical understanding.
Lesson plans are tailored to each student’s level. Beginners develop foundational phrases, pronunciation, and understanding of grammar basics. Intermediate learners enhance conversational fluency, vocabulary precision, and sentence structure. Advanced learners work on complex grammar, stylistic nuance, cultural comprehension, and advanced reading. Exercises include dialogues, role-play scenarios, listening activities, and written composition. Feedback emphasizes accuracy, pronunciation, and confident communication. Lessons aim to foster fluency, comfort, and cultural appreciation.
Over time, learners develop confident speaking, accurate grammar, and cultural awareness. Lessons cultivate curiosity, engagement, and expressive ability in real-world contexts. Students gain confidence in conversation, comprehension, and written expression. My goal is to guide learners toward practical fluency, cultural understanding, and a lifelong appreciation for the French language.
