About Quinn
My passion for French developed through literature studies, cultural exploration, and international language experiences during university education. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages before earning a PhD in French Applied Linguistics. During the last 12 years, I have guided students toward stronger fluency through supportive teaching and practical communication methods.
I believe every learner improves differently, so I adapt lessons according to communication goals, confidence level, and learning style. Some students improve through speaking and listening activities, while others benefit more from grammar explanation and structured exercises. My teaching style focuses on patience, encouragement, and balanced language development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying francophone culture, reading modern French literature, and exploring language history. Staying connected to the language helps me bring authentic examples into lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate naturally and confidently.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally through structured language learning and practical speaking activities. I teach pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar foundations, vocabulary building, sentence construction, and conversational French through interactive exercises that make learning enjoyable and approachable. Lessons are supportive, engaging, and focused on helping students improve steadily.
Beginners strengthen their communication skills through pronunciation drills, guided dialogues, and repetition exercises that gradually improve speaking confidence. Intermediate learners work on grammar accuracy, smoother conversational flow, and stronger listening ability through roleplays and structured discussion activities. Advanced students focus on fluent communication, cultural understanding, and natural expression through deeper conversation practice and practical language tasks.
I encourage students to practice confidently instead of worrying about making mistakes during conversations. Lessons support consistency, confidence, and practical communication while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident French speakers.
