About Nova
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Linguistics and have spent the past 6 years helping students develop confidence in French communication. My interest in the language began through literature, cultural studies, and a fascination with global communication. Over time, teaching became a meaningful way for me to share that passion while helping learners achieve personal goals. Supporting students as they grow continues to be a source of inspiration and fulfillment.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, engagement, and adaptability. I believe language learning becomes more effective when students actively participate rather than passively memorize information. Lessons are structured to encourage practical use of French while addressing individual learning needs. Students receive guidance that helps them build understanding gradually and confidently. This creates a welcoming environment where learners feel comfortable taking risks and making progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading contemporary French authors, studying language acquisition methods, and exploring francophone cultures. These interests help me bring authenticity and variety into lessons. Watching students communicate successfully in French is incredibly rewarding. I strive to make every learning experience encouraging and meaningful. My goal is to help learners develop both fluency and appreciation for the language.

My French lessons are designed to transform language learning into a practical and enjoyable experience. Rather than focusing only on textbook exercises, I help students understand how French functions in authentic situations. Lessons develop listening comprehension, verb usage, pronunciation accuracy, vocabulary growth, sentence-building ability, and conversational confidence through carefully structured activities. I use audio resources, real-life dialogues, interactive exercises, and guided speaking practice to create meaningful learning opportunities. Students gradually build confidence while strengthening the core skills needed for everyday communication.
Every learner receives a personalized learning experience based on their goals and interests. Some students focus on travel communication, while others enjoy learning French as a hobby or personal challenge. Activities include pronunciation drills, listening tasks, vocabulary reinforcement exercises, grammar practice, and conversational role plays. Students are encouraged to participate actively and ask questions throughout the lesson. Regular review and feedback help reinforce understanding and support long-term retention. This balanced approach keeps progress steady and measurable.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable using French beyond the classroom. As their skills improve, learners become more willing to engage in conversations and explore French-speaking cultures.
