About Melissa
Citizen of the world, quadrilingual in French-Italian-English-Mandarin, I grew up in London, Paris and Hong Kong, enriching myself with three different educational systems. These openings allowed me to draw the strengths and weaknesses of each system, which I always try to transcribe in my pedagogical approach with my students. I am passionate about traveling and my exchange year spent alone in complete immersion (local high school and host family) in China, brought me general knowledge and open-mindedness.
I like to enjoy all opportunities which open to me - between pianist, receptionist and teacher, my favorite is still teaching!

I am currently a Bocconi and Peking University double degree student in BSc Economics and Management. I obtained my French scientific baccalaureate with an additional Chinese international section at Lycee Janson de Sailly in Paris, with highest honours (mention très bien)
Pedagogical approach: Having studied in 4 educational systems (British, French, Italian, Chinese), my pedagogical approach integrates the best points of all four. It keeps England’s pedagogy through interactive lessons, France’s rigour, China’s precision and Italy’s light and easy socialising ways.
I always try to make my lessons as fun as the subject allows it to be. I am very patient, but I expect my students to stay concentrated!
Services offered: I can help your child with their homework, especially when it comes to scientific subjects (math, physics, etc.), economic subjects (history, business, ...) and everything related to languages (French, English, Chinese).
I can also help with SAT preparation.
Experience: For the past 4 years, I have offered educational support to several students, especially middle school students. I have references and guarantee a 100% satisfaction rate!

Melissa is very patient with kids. She is a very empathique person and quickly she understands their needs and the way to interact with them. She gives courses to my daughter one-to-one both in presence and with Zoom, helping her doing homework. As teacher, Melissa is very clear in explaining different subject and in making kids doing consistent exercices.
I would recomend Melissa indeed.
