About Kevin
Hey I'm Kevin, not only am I studying Politics and English Literature at University of Glasgow, but I also simultaneously completed a Philosophy degree in a Parisian uni. The reason I do so much? I love learning: and that is where my passion for teaching comes from. It will be a pleasure to share my enthusiasm for learning (whether it be in Philosophy, Literature, Politics or French). My prior experience of teaching consists of being an English teacher in France for two years (at the Turner Learning Center in Paris). Thanks to my bilingualism I have now been teaching French (as well as Literature and Politics) at GCSE, A level, and University in the UK for the past 2 years.
Exams can be extremely stressful, and having suffered through many, I hope that my experience can help you become fearless and confident in your ability to succeed.

I find it very effective to always link the topics being studied with something that my students can relate to. I structure my classes so that everything that is learnt is immediately applied. My aim is to teach practical and transferable skills and foster personal growth. Teaching methods, and even lesson structure, vary greatly from one student to the next according to their needs and strengths. Sometimes a formal explanation of a topic is in order, sometimes lessons take on a more interractive spin. I can be a demanding teacher: regular work and practice is required to succeed at anything, but hard work always pays off.

Kevin is the most patient guy in the world, and a deep thinker who will try to make you learn French while breaking your brains with questions and topics of all kinds.
Kevin is a great tutor. He has a lot of knowledge, he's very passionate about what he teaches and can give very clear explanations.
Kevin really knows his stuff and makes sure you know it too! I like how creative he his with the types of work we do, and he is very good at basing lessons in the real world. Highly recommend!
I would highly recommend Kevin. He's helped me improve my language skills. I went from an A1 to a B1 in the space of a month and a half. Both my grammar and vocabulary have improved greatly. He's very knowledgeable and his lessons are always fun. Thanks Kevin!
I took an advanced French course that was taught by Kevin and he was one of the best French teachers I ever had! He is very experienced and puts a lot of effort into creating lessons, that are engaging and tailored to the individual students' learning goals. But above is Kevin's excellent social skills that make him stand out as a teacher Kevin. He created a learning environment that was enjoyable and motivating, to the extent that many students (myself included) started looking forward to his weekly French lessons.
He is a great teacher with a lot patience and time for you, not only to explain things but also to make sure that you can use what you learned. I was his student for a few months and I gained a lot in terms of comprehension and grammar. If you are looking for a superprof to make your language learning journey effective, Kevin is there to help you about that!
Kevin was my French teacher during last semester, and he really helped me to reach the level I was aiming at in preparation for my studies in France . On top of that, his lessons were super nice and engaging. He is a really lovely person, highly recommended!
