About Yara
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a Master of Arts in French Communication Studies. Over the past 7 years, I have helped students develop practical language skills for personal, academic, and professional purposes. My interest in French developed through literature, culture, and international communication. Teaching gives me the opportunity to share that passion while helping learners expand their opportunities and confidence. Watching students achieve language goals continues to inspire me.
My teaching style focuses on creating an encouraging and interactive learning environment. I believe students learn most effectively when they use the language actively and consistently. Lessons are personalized to match individual strengths, challenges, and objectives while maintaining a clear structure for improvement. Students receive guidance that helps them understand concepts deeply and apply them confidently. This approach supports lasting success.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring francophone culture, reading contemporary French authors, and studying language education techniques. These interests allow me to bring fresh ideas into lessons and maintain authenticity in my teaching. Seeing learners gain confidence in French communication is incredibly rewarding. I strive to make every lesson practical, engaging, and supportive. My goal is to help students build skills they can use with confidence in real situations.

My French lessons are designed to help students move beyond memorization and develop practical communication abilities. I focus on listening comprehension, vocabulary development, verb conjugation, pronunciation, sentence structure, and conversational confidence through engaging activities and authentic examples. Learners are encouraged to interact with the language actively so they can understand how French is used in daily situations. Lessons combine structure with flexibility, allowing students to build skills while maintaining enthusiasm for learning. This approach helps create steady and meaningful progress.
Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s goals and interests. Students preparing for travel strengthen communication skills for real-world situations, while hobby learners focus on enjoyable language exploration and conversational growth. Activities include audio-based learning, role-playing exercises, pronunciation practice, vocabulary reinforcement, and idiomatic language study. Students receive detailed feedback that helps improve both accuracy and confidence. Consistent practice supports long-term language development and stronger communication skills.
My goal is to help students feel comfortable speaking and understanding French in a variety of settings. As confidence grows, learners become more willing to participate in conversations and explore French-speaking cultures. Lessons encourage persistence, curiosity, and active engagement.
