About Maya
I am a 2D / 3D illustrator, story artist and animator. I am graduated in editorial graphics and have a master degree in computer animation and visual effects at the Rome University of Fine Arts, both with top grades.
My artistic background ranges from traditional drawing to digital, with a propensity for storytelling related to the disciplines of comics and storyboards.
My courses are for every person who want to approach and learn the art of drawing, illustration, cartoon and also animation (2D and 3D), starting from the bases of traditional drawing and reaching up to the digital medium.
We’ll work with:
- paper sketchbook
- PC + tablet (PaintToolSAI, Photoshop, ToonBoom Harmony, Maya3D) or IPad PRO (Procreate)

Do your drawing skills stops ate the “stickman near the pentagonal house”? Or are you an advanced artist who wants to upgrade their drawing skills and learn new techniques?
Regardless of your level, my task will be to help you acquire the kind of gesture that represents you the best, guiding you in the search for your own personal style through exercises of manual skills, live drawing, understanding of drawing techniques and introduction to the digital world.
In case you are also interested in learning the secrets behind the creation of an animated product, I will illustrate you, step by step, the various phases and techniques that will allow you to give life to your design on the screen, both through the techniques of 2D and 3D animation.
