About James

At Lucid Education, we're a team of high-scoring VCE graduates and current university students who actually remember what it's like to sit these exams.

Our tutors have achieved:
Scaled 50s in Mathematics
99+ ATAR's

Since launching, we've delivered 600+ hours of tutoring across private and group settings:
Students moving from 30% → 85%
A student going from 0% → 90%
Students with no Year 10 Maths background accelerating straight into Unit 1 Methods and scoring 93%
Every high schooler we've worked with has been recommended by their school to continue into Methods

Lucid isn't just tutoring , it's a community.

We learn best from each other, so getting help in our Discord feels like your smartest mate explaining it, not a lecture. Foundations to VCAA-level, no gatekeeping.

Sessions run off workbooks written in-house, built around exactly what VCAA exams focus on.
Personalised study plans tailored to your strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
Free access to 500+ SACs and past exams (T&Cs apply).

Since launching earlier this year, I've now tutored over 300+ hours in both a private and group setting, and the results speak for themselves:

Students moving from 30% to 85%
A student going from 0% to 90%
Students with no Year 10 Maths background accelerating straight into Unit 1 Methods and scoring 93% on their exam
Every single high school student I work with has been recommended by their school to continue into Methods
Every Unit 3/4 student has left my class feeling more confident

My tutoring goes beyond simply teaching content. Every session runs off workbooks I've written myself, built around exactly what VCAA exams focus on, no filler, just what actually helps.

I'm also happy to provide free assistance in other VCE subjects whenever needed, so you get maximum value from each session.

Sessions run weekly (60–90 minutes), with optional additional workshop sessions for Year 11/12 students who want to go deeper into exam and SAC strategy.

Outside of class, you're never on your own. I answer questions 24/7, whether you're stuck on homework, revising for a SAC, or prepping for exams.

Every student also gets a personalised study plan tailored to their strengths, weaknesses, and goals, plus free access to 500+ SACs and exams. (T&Cs apply)
