About Theo
Graduated from Newcastle University in 2025 in maths and am tutoring before I start my masters at Kings College London in Financial maths with Data Science. Outside of maths I play lots of sport and have just returned to the UK after spending 6 months in Australia! My passion for teaching started during my time at Newcastle, where I studied maths teaching methods and taught at a school in Cyprus. It was a joy to help students improve and become confident in their maths abilities, and to help them achieve their academic goals.

I like to teach using a visual approach to aid intuition behind mathematical concepts. I aim to give students a genuine understanding as opposed to getting them to just pass their exams.
45 mins - 1.5 hour lessons.
Lessons for ages 7-18.
I have taught in the UK, Cyprus and have written research papers on mathematics pedagogy. I genuinely love maths and science and hope to help students foster a belief that they can be good at it, because you can if you are taught to think in the right way.
