About Alexa
After beginning to study French as a freshman in high school, I went on to receive a degree in French with a minor in Linguistics. I am a lifelong language lover and student. I have been where you are now, wanting and trying to learn a language. Besides English (my mother tongue) I have studied over 7 languages. I know what it's like to be a student and have the knowledge of techniques and resources to help you on your path.

I am super excited to teach you the French you need to succeed. Whether you are trying to pass a class, planning a trip, falling in love with a French speaker, want to impress a love interest with some romantic phrases, or desire to truly understand the meaning and wordplay in songs ranging from Édith Piaf to Stromae I will prepare the proper lessons to get you there. I have 10 years experience teaching French in the El Paso area and have also taught French in after-school programs in the Chicago area and tutored and translated while in Morocco as well. I specialize in teaching French to non-native English speakers which in turn can help you with your English language skills.
