About Nessa
I've been tutoring for over 5 years, tutored over 50 people, and never failed my students. To be honest, I was never the student to enjoy math class. I understand that math can be difficult. However, finding out ways to voice and explain concepts has become a passion of mine. For credibility's sake, I finished grade 12 Advanced Functions with a 97%, Calculus with 95%, and my current GPA at Ontario Tech University is 4.22. I'm still familiar with highschool concepts as I continue to tutor them. Being a tutor is more than the pay. I enjoy being with students 1 on 1 and do my best to make math actually make sense. I enjoy seeing people around my age light up when they finally feel confident in their own knowledge. You can feel one with me

Work with me in-person in a comfortable room, on a table, with a whiteboard. Working on a whiteboards been my personal favorite study method even through the 12th grade. It allows you to explore without being afraid of mistakes, and it provides a large and clear visual to see and understand everything better. Together, we can either practice for upcoming tests, or explore new concepts. The hour always feels shorter. I am also open to teaching ahead to give you a headstart in upcoming years. My students have never felt ashamed or worried as I am a student just like you.

Nessa was a wonderful tutor for my daughter. She provided effective teaching methods which increased my daughter’s understanding of math and increased her confidence. Nessa was flexible and reliable I highly recommend her for tutoring.

Nessa has helped my gr.12 physics mark and gr.12 Calc mark jump 11% and 7% respectively compared from prior years, she has a way of teaching that unique to herself as she sits down and tries to become your friend while teaching.
