About Sasha
I am going to be a year 12 student at a competitive sixth form from September. I enjoy tutoring others in order to not only deepen my understanding in certain fields, but to form positive connections with students, helping them also enjoy learning and understanding fascinating concepts. I am especially passionate about literature and STEM, so exploring it with students is something I personally enjoy and will naturally be able to teach better.

My teaching style is focused on building confidence in students by personalising my lessons to adapt to their individual learning style. I use a variety of methods such as assessments to gauge initial ability, practice questions and engaging in discussion with students in order to foster a positive learning environment in which they not only understand, but are able to recall information under exam pressure. I am able to teach foundation GCSE maths, GCSE higher triple biology and chemistry, and GCSE English literature and language. All my lessons will be aligned with the specification, and planned beforehand in order to structure lessons in a way that allows for clearer understanding of the material. I am currently aiming for mainly 9s at GCSE, and have also made large improvements in many of my grades, such as between November and February, moving from a grade 5 to an 8 in chemistry, and then a 9 by April, so I know exactly how to boost grades efficiently and the methods which work. My lessons will typically be one hour, unless requested otherwise.
